Picante Venison
Ingredients:
-
32 oz. mild picante sauce
-
2 Lg. Green Peppers
-
2 Lg. Onions
-
3# to 4# Venison Steaks
-
Salt & Pepper to Taste
-
1 2 oz. jar red chilies
1. Tenderize Stks. with Meat Mallet
2. Chop Peppers & Onions Approx 1/4" square
3. Place about 1/4" to 1/2" Picante Sauce in btm. of Crock Pot
4. Sprinkle Peppers, Onions, Chiles, on Picante
5. Layer Steaks on top of Sauce
6 Repeat this process until all Stks. are layered with sauce
7. Set Crock Pot on Low. After 1 1/2 Hrs.Stir to Mix, then
cook another 1 1/2 Hrs.
8. Serve over noodles or rice, or put Steaks on buns/rolls
for sandwiches.

1 bottle Carribean Jerk
Meat Marinate
1 or 2 cans sliced pineapple with juice
salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste
1/4 to 1/2 can Sprite
1 lemon, squeezed.

Marinate a minimum of
48 hours
-
Cook at low heat until
medium rare in the middle
-
Make sure the thin ends
get eaten before the whole strap comes off the grill.
